In Mind was originally recorded during the summer of 2016 following the departure of founding guitarist Matt Mondanile. The band's tranquil soft rock sound still prevails, bringing listeners down to their methodically crafted pace. Mondanile's replacement on guitar, Julian Lynch, may have a more biting tone, but the band is more familiar and comforting than ever. It's as if frontman Martin Courtney has found an even more perfect setting for his ruminations on suburban malaise and life as a family man.
