UMA Internship Program

The Universal Music Australia Internship Program is an immersive opportunity for university students designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to a career in the music entertainment industry. Throughout the internship program, we curate professional development and networking opportunities for our interns while celebrating the value they add to our UMA culture.

We are excited to kick off the Universal Music Australia Internship Program for 2025. The first intake will begin in March 2025, joining us at our Sydney office.

2025 Intern Qualifications

- Currently enrolled at a Tertiary Institution/University undertaking an undergraduate degree. Ideally, we are looking for students who are interested in a career in the music industry and are completing modules/subjects relevant to music/entertainment

- The applicant must be eligible to participate in work placement as per terms of their degree and Tertiary Institution/University

- UMA can only accept successful candidates who are enrolled in the ‘Internship/Placement’ unit of study at their Tertiary Institution/University

- Commit to between 10-25 hours per week (based on business area) or as required by Tertiary Institution/University

- Must be able to join us in-person at our Woolloomooloo, Sydney office for the duration of the internship - up to 10 weeks.
