Product Details
Released in 1985, Mars Needs Guitars! was the album that cemented Hoodoo Gurus as one of Australia’s most influential rock bands. Packed with standout tracks like "Bittersweet", "Like Wow - Wipeout!" and "Death Defying". Loud, catchy and confident, the album captured the Gurus at full stride.
To mark its 40th anniversary, this deluxe 2LP edition brings the album back in expanded form.
- LP1: Picture disc of the original album
- LP2: Unreleased demos and never-before-heard album outtake "Johnny", pressed on Ozone Green glow-in-the-dark vinyl
- Original artwork by Richard Allen
- Inner sleeve featuring Dave Faulkner’s handwritten lyrics to “Show Some Emotion”
- A2 fold-out “Like Wow Tour” poster included
To 'charge' glow in the dark vinyl, expose it to sunlight or a bright lamp. The longer the exposure, the longer and brighter the glow will be.
