Dave Faulkner says, "I wrote 'Carry On' before COVID-19 was on the horizon but the song's theme of doing your best under trying circumstances has become even more relevant during lockdown.
Whether you're an essential worker or a primary carer, sometimes the work you do goes unrecognised by the people around you. They may even make things more difficult than they need to be. All you can do is tune them out, knuckle down and do the best you can. As the saying goes, keep calm and carry on."
