'hendle’ is the highly-anticipated debut solo album from acclaimed songwriter, producer and performer trials (aka Daniel Hendle Rankine), a man who has taken time to understand and share his soul on an unflinching, emotive collection of 10 songs telling the unsanitised story of a childhood built on displacement, the carceral system and the strength it became.
Entirely produced, written, performed, recorded and mixed by trials, ‘hendle’ sees the multi-talented, multi-disciplinary artist play every instrument on the album, with his signature style strong beats and detailed arrangements alongside intimate and bold storytelling. ‘hendle’ is trails “warts and all” origin story.
